The Root Canal Procedure
If you come to Crow Family Dental with symptoms that require a root canal, you may think you need to see an endodontist for the procedure. However, our dentist [doctor-name-short] can actually perform the root canal right here in our office!
Before starting the procedure, we will take X-rays of your mouth to assess the tooth that needs treatment. Once you are in the dental chair, we will numb the area to ensure you are comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Crow will clean out the infection from the root canals within the tooth, fill them with an antibiotic, seal the canals, and place a filling in the tooth. If necessary, a crown may be placed on top of the tooth for added protection and strength.
