What Is CBCT?
CBCT is a low dose 3D scan of your mouth and jaw. It captures depth and exact location that flat X rays miss, so we can see hidden fractures, extra canals, bone thickness, sinus position, and nerve pathways in one quick spin.
Why It Matters To You ?
- Faster answers in one visit
- Treatment planned to the millimeter for implants, extractions, and root canals
- Fewer surprises and fewer visits
- You see the scan on screen and understand the plan
- Safe, focused radiation with a quick scan
How We Use It Every Day
- Dental implants: map bone, nerves, and sinus for precise placement
- Root canals: find extra canals, cracks, infections not visible in 2D
- Wisdom teeth: know exact position before removal
- TMJ and bite issues: evaluate joints and jaw structure
- Sleep and airway concerns: measure airway space and screen for obstruction
- Trauma and fractures: catch injuries missed on standard films
- If your case needs it, we scan right here and move forward the same day.

Radiation and Safety
We follow ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) guidelines. The scan is quick and targeted, and we only take it when it will improve your care. Lead aprons and thyroid collars are used when appropriate.
What Your Visit Looks Like
- Step into the scanner, rest your chin, stay still for a short spin
- Your 3D image loads in seconds
- We review it together and outline your plan on the spot
