Case Study
Case Study: Immediate Implants at Site #9 and #10
Digital Workflow + CBCT Planning | Connective Tissue Graft | In-Progress Healing
Initial Diagnosis
This case began with a patient presenting resorption and a hopeless prognosis on teeth #9 and #10. The severity of bone and tooth structure loss meant extraction was the only viable option.

Digital Planning with CBCT
We used digital workflow and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) to plan the case precisely. This ensured optimal angulation, placement, and implant length—minimizing trauma while maximizing esthetics and longevity.

Surgical Phase: Immediate Implants and Temporaries
The patient underwent extraction and immediate implant placement at both sites during a single visit.
- Implants were placed with precision
- Temporary crowns were loaded same-day
- A connective tissue graft was used to preserve facial gum tissue and support esthetics

Post-op and Healing
At the two-week follow-up, healing is progressing well. The final restoration will be completed after full integration and tissue stabilization.

Smile in Progress
While the final prosthetic is still in progress, the initial results already show dramatic improvements in both function and appearance. This case highlights the importance of timely diagnosis, technology-assisted planning, and patient-focused care.
